1. Nature of the contract
Through this contract, Xócala (Josep Teixidó Recordà, with registered office at Carrer Alcoll, 29 local 1, esc F, 08440 de Cardedeu and NIF 52153095C) sells to the customer (any natural or legal person with whom Xócala signs any contract of sale of its online catalog) and he buys from Xócala the product specified on the invoice. "Contract" is understood to mean the purchase and sale operation that is instrumented through this document. "Product" means the merchandise that is the subject of the purchase contract.
2. Availability and prices
The data that appear in our Database correspond to products that have ever entered our catalog. We do not assume responsibility for any typographical or arithmetical errors that may appear on our page. Although Xócala has practically all of its catalog in stock, we cannot guarantee total availability at all times. In this case, Xócala will contact the buyer, we will delay the shipment until we have stock or the product will be refunded. The prices and promotions published on our pages are only valid for orders placed through our website.

Orders are delivered between 24 and 48 hours from their issue, those made until 23:59 will be delivered on the 2nd working day.
IMPORTANT NOTE: To prevent them from arriving in bad conditions, only orders for coins will be accepted with shipping methods: "Pick up at the point of sale" or "Urgent Shipping". ALL orders that do not meet this condition will be canceled or partially refunded (if they contain more products).
Free shipping for orders over €50 in the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands (not included in the Canary Islands). At the end of the purchase, select the option you want (home delivery in any mode or collection) before proceeding to payment.
The amount of shipping costs will be added to the total price according to the specifications and modalities: Standard €5 or Dedicated Urgent (Barcelonès, Maresme and Vallès Oriental) €12.
In Xócala we work with Nacex for normal orders and they are sent in 24/48h.
For orders in Vallès Oriental, Barcelonès and Maresme, the Urgent delivery method with a dedicated delivery person is available at a cost of €12 and subject to availability and stock.
If you want to save on shipping costs, you can pick up the order in person at our Obrador de Cardedeu (Carrer Alcoll, 29 local 1, esc F, 08440 Cardedeu, Barcelona) or at the PopUp store in Barcelona (Torrent de l'Olla 15, 08012 Barcelona) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. from Tuesday to Saturday) from March 12 to April 30, always by appointment).
In the Xócala online store you can pay:
1) By card through the Shopify Payments virtual POS.
2) Select "Pay on collection".
In both cases, these are secure means that directly manage payment information, so that in no case does Xócala have access to or store your card data.
Due to the Covid19 crisis, in Xócala we recommend paying by debit or credit card when placing an order in the "Pay on collection" mode.
Xócala will send the customer an email with the proof of purchase at the time of formalization and confirmation of the order as long as the necessary data is provided to confirm the purchase or to register as a user on our website.
5. Cancellations and returns
Orders can be canceled free of charge until the moment the shipment has been made. If we receive the cancellation notice after the package has already been shipped, it will be considered a non-delivery return. Returns can be made whenever and when the shipment has not been made. In the event that it has been sent, please contact us.
Returns will not be accepted for those orders that have been delivered and/or collected by the purchasers. They will only be accepted as long as the shipment has not reached its recipient and is in the hands of the transport company. In this case, the buyer/recipient must reject the shipment. Return costs will be borne by the buyer.
As long as all these requirements have been met, Xócala will refund the total amount of the items purchased. As long as the shipment has not been made, the original shipping costs of the order will also be reimbursed. It will be the customer who will bear the shipping costs of the return if it has already been sent.
If the return could not be accepted due to non-compliance with the conditions indicated above, Xócala will contact the customer. In the event that Xócala has mistakenly sent a different product to the one requested, or that the quality of the said product is not correct, the customer must contact Xócala for the return and/or exchange which will be done with as much diligence as possible. The return of the product to Xócala, in this case, will be coordinated from Xócala, once informed of the error or defect, so that Xócala will assume the corresponding shipping costs (round trip).
DOUBTS ABOUT SHIPMENTS
Q. Are deliveries made to PO boxes or lockers?
A. No, shipments are not made to PO boxes, delivery is always done by hand.
Q. Are returns accepted?
A. Despite the fact that these are food products, returns are not accepted. In the event that your product arrives in bad condition, contact us and we will try to solve it as soon as possible and with the best solution.
